about

Let No Man Steal Your Thyme
Trad.
This follows the arrangement by Pentangle, and was the opening track on their first album in 1968, but uses fewer instruments. This ballad, first documented in 1689, uses botanical symbolism to warn young women of the dangers of taking false lovers.
